Welcome to the Housatonic Adult Education High School Diploma Program! We are happy that you are interested in joining our fine program. We will make every effort to help you achieve your personal goals.

The purpose of this program is to provide individuals who have not completed their high school education an opportunity to earn a high school diploma.

The Adult High School Diploma Program is for students who are at least 16 years of age do well in a classroom setting and are only few a credits away from completing graduation requirements.

A minimum of 60 instructional hours per credit and 20 credits in six areas are required.
Courses are given in English, math, social studies, and a variety of other subject areas.
Additional credit is given for work experience, certificates, military service and volunteer work.

Registration: General Registration for Adult High School classes is held in August and January prior to the start of each semester. Registration occurs throughout the year at the Adult Education office. Students may bring a transcript from the last school in which they were enrolled as well as any other appropriate certificates to registration.
